½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners or spray VERY thoroughly with nonstick spray.
In a large bowl, whisk the cocoa powder and melted butter until smooth. Whisk in sugar until combined, then whisk in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour until just mixed, then fold in chocolate or candies.
Divide batter evenly in 24 mini muffin tins. Bake for about 10 minutes, until puffy and firm. Let cool in pan for about 10 minutes before removing to wire rack.
