2 lbs. beef steak cut into strips
2 green peppers cut into strips
1/2 onion, sliced into strips
2 tbsp. oil
1 beef bouillon cube
1/4 c hot water
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 (15 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger
In skillet, brown steak pieces in oil until browned. Season with garlic powder to taste.
Place in the bottom of crock pot.
In a measuring cup, mix hot water, bouillon cube and cornstarch. Mix well until all is dissolved and pour over beef.
Add stewed tomatoes, soy sauce and spices. Add peppers and onions. Give a quick stir.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 until beef is tender.
Serve over rice or noodles.
