Grilled Reuben Brats

can or bottle (12 oz) beer or nonalcoholic beer                                       uncooked fresh bratwurst links (about1lb)                                            

 2 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing

  rye or whole wheat buns, split                                   

1/2 cup shredded Swiss Cheese                                                                

1 cup sauerkraut, drained, heated if desired

Heat grill in 2qt. sauce pan heat beer to boiling add brats reduce heat to low simmer 15 minutes covered.

drain and place on grill over medium heat, cook 8-10 minutes until brown turning once.

Spread dressing on buns, place brats in bun and top with sauerkraut.
